Sales Administrator – Durban (Engineering & Compliance Support for UK Market)
Full-Time | Office-Based | Durban, South Africa
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Sales Administrator to join our Durban office, supporting our UK Engineering and Compliance teams. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong administrative skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload with accuracy.
You will be responsible for processing engineering sales administration, contract renewals, compliance documentation, and customer enquiries while maintaining high service standards across all tasks.
About the Role
As a Sales Administrator, you will work closely with Engineering Sales, Compliance, and Radiation Protection teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of service contracts, booking requests, and back-office reviews. You will maintain CRM records, assist with documentation, and support customers with enquiries about products and services.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, confident using technology, and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and process Engineering Service Contract renewals and amendments.
- Process engineering booking requests and send customer confirmations.
- Investigate engineering back-office reviews and action required remediations.
- Update and maintain data in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Provide administrative support for Engineering Sales and Compliance teams.
- Assist the Radiation Protection Team by managing the daily Microsoft Dynamics "Pick Queue" for X-ray engineering work.
- Complete quality assurance tasks and issue radiation reports for X-ray engineering jobs.
- Update the Radiation Protection Team's Microsoft Access database.
- Handle general customer service enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Build strong product and service knowledge to support customer interactions.
- Perform general office and administrative duties as required.
Standard Company Requirements
- Comply with all Health & Safety requirements and wear PPE when needed.
- Participate in quality programmes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to MHRA guidelines and maintain awareness of relevant compliance regulations.
- Understand principles of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) where applicable.
- Support the business in maintaining essential licences and certifications.
- Complete all required training.
- Carry out any additional reasonable duties assigned by your Manager.

- Strong IT literacy (Microsoft Office, CRM systems, databases).

- Self-starter able to structure workload independently while contributing to teamwork.
- Ability to multi-task without compromising quality.
Experience Required
- Proven experience in a similar administration role (engineering or dental industry experience preferred).
- Experience working to KPIs and strict deadlines.
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics or another CRM platform.
Qualifications
South African National Senior Certificate (Matric) with at least 5 subjects passed at 40% or above, including English and Mathematics/Mathematical Literacy
