A respected professional body in the education and governance sector is seeking a Deputy Student Manager. This recruitment is being conducted on behalf of our client, who is looking for a dedicated and organised individual to join their team in Johannesburg. 

Key Requirements
  • A relevant degree such as BEd, BA, BCom or the CGISA qualification
  • Experience in academic administration (advantageous)
  • Understanding of the education sector (advantageous)
  • Strong administrative and organisational abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage high volumes of student interactions professionally
Key Duties
  • Register new and returning students in line with institutional policies
  • Convert and retain returning students through active engagement
  • Manage the exemptions process
  • Work confidently on the student information management system
  • Maintain accurate academic records and documentation
  • Process academic records and postponements
  • Liaise effectively with tuition providers
  • Manage the assignments process and work experience requirements
  • Provide students with guidance on academic processes
  • Handle and resolve a high volume of student enquiries
  • Provide professional support to the Student Manager
