You are a key player on our team, acting as the very first line of contact for our valued customers, supporting them to the fullest, thereby guaranteeing a smooth gaming experience.
What You'll Be Doing (Your Key Responsibilities):
Deliver World-Class Customer Support: Handle player inquiries and resolve issues swiftly and professionally through the various channels of live chat, email, and phone in relation to our casino games and sports betting platform online.
Become an Expert: Help with account registration, deposits and withdrawals, placing bets, game rules, queries about bonuses, and understanding odds.
Troubleshoot and Resolve: Assist players in troubleshooting technical issues related to our platform, games, and account access.
Responsible Gaming: Encourage responsible gaming and provide information on tools and resources as required by South African legislation.
Know Your Customer (KYC): Carry out the FICA/KYC verification for customers while ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.
Keep Accurate Records: Record all customer interactions and resolutions accurately in the CRM system.
Stay Informed: Stay current with new games, platform updates, promotions, and betting markets.
Collaborate With Team Members: Work collaboratively with your team members and escalate problems above your competence to the appropriate department.
To Be Considered, You'll Need (Skills & Experience):
- Minimum 1-2 years' proven experience in a customer support role, ideally within a contact centre environment. Experience in the online gaming, casino, or sports betting industry is an advantage.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Fluent in English (written and verbal) is essential. Proficiency in other South African languages will be beneficial.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Genuine passion for helping customers, with outstanding patience and empathy.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using computers, various software applications, and online platforms. Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Problem-Solver: Strong analytical skills with the ability to think on your feet and find effective solutions.
- Adaptable & Resilient: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 shift-based environment and handle pressure with a positive attitude.
- Reliable & Punctual: Commitment to working rotational shifts (including nights, weekends, and public holidays) from our Johannesburg office.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in information delivery and record-keeping.
- Understanding of Sports/Casino (Preferred): A good understanding of sports betting markets, casino games, and associated terminology will make your application stand out.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12) required; a tertiary qualification is an advantage.
- Must have reliable transport for all shifts.
- Clear criminal record (background checks will be conducted).
