A prestigious opportunity has opened for an accomplished Financial Director (CA(SA)) to lead the full finance function of a major player in the FMCG manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and lead the full finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and governance.
  • Drive financial strategy, cost optimisation, and profitability initiatives across the business.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant statutory reporting, tax management, and audit processes.
  • Provide strategic commercial insights to support operational and executive decision-making.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Strengthen internal controls and champion financial best practices.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant – CA(SA).
  • Experience: 8–12 years' post-article experience with at least 5 years in senior finance leadership, ideally at Financial Manager or Financial Director level.
  • Prior experience in FMCG or manufacturing is essential.
  • Strong financial governance, strategic planning, and commercial decision-making capability.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
  • A proven track record of leading teams, influencing executives, and driving operational improvements.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and business partnering skills.
