RPO Recruitment's client is looking for an Executive Financial Director to join their team in Midrand, Gauteng. This role is critical in driving the financial health and strategic direction of the company. The successful candidate will oversee all financial aspects, including planning, risk management, record-keeping, and reporting, while providing strategic recommendations to leadership.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Provide financial analysis and projections to senior leadership.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and risk management initiatives.
  • Manage financial reporting and performance monitoring.
  • Implement treasury and cash flow management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and governance requirements.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of financial discipline.
  • Support business expansion, strategic partnerships, and investor relations.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) (SA) or equivalent qualification.
  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive role.
  • Industry experience in construction, infrastructure, or engineering preferred.
  • Strong expertise in financial strategy, risk management, and capital raising.
  • Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and digital finance transformation.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
