About Us

We are a specialised real estate and property management agency based in Hoheizen, Bellville. Our company provides professional management services to sectional title schemes, homeowners' associations (HOAs), and rental properties throughout the Western Cape.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, professional, and reliable Accountant to manage financial functions across our portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in real estate or property finance who is eager to grow within a regulated and fast-growing industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage bookkeeping and accounting records for sectional title schemes, HOAs, and rental properties
  • Reconcile bank accounts and trust accounts
  • Prepare and review monthly financial reports and levy statements
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasts, and financial planning for property portfolios
  • Process supplier invoices, payments, and manage accounts payable/receivable
  • Assist in year-end audit preparations and liaise with auditors as needed
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, CSOS, STSMA, and Prescribed Management Rules (PMRs)
  • Support Portfolio Managers with financial documentation and queries
  • Process and manage insurance claims related to financial loss or property damage

Minimum Requirements

  • SAIPA / CIMA Registered
  • Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (spoken and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong numeracy and reconciliation skills
  • Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple accounts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable (Advantageous)

  • Experience working with sectional title schemes, HOAs, or rental portfolios
  • Familiarity with STSMA, CSOS, and Prescribed Management Rules
  • Experience with WeConnectU or similar property management/accounting software
  • Knowledge of trust accounting and audit requirements in the property sector
  • Registration with the PPRA or willingness to register

Compliance & Disqualification Criteria

The successful candidate must:

  • Be fluent in both English and Afrikaans
  • Have no criminal record or civil judgments related to dishonesty
  • Not be an unrehabilitated insolvent
  • Be willing to register with the PPRA (Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority) if not already registered
