SENIOR ACCOUNTANT: CLAREMONT, CAPE TOWN

Position Overview

We are seeking a newly qualified CA who is eager to advance their career in accounting or complete their SAIPA articles, with at least
five years of experience.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • A strong interest in accounting and financial management
  • A dedicated work ethic and willingness to invest the time required to meet objectives
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align processes to business needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting tools
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all work
  • A collaborative team player who can also plan, coordinate, and lead teams to meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to manage accounting figures and maintain accurate financial records
  • A solid understanding of procurement processes, from purchase order to payment, will be an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of internal controls and compliance requirements within a multinational subsidiary environment

  • CoS analysis
  • VAT and Income Tax
  • Statutory requirements
  • Management Accounts Review

This position is office based in Claremont, Cape Town.
