Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Senior Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations of the business and support leadership with accurate, timely reporting. This is a remote, full-time role working U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours, ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment balancing bookkeeping precision with analytical insight and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and journal postings.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
  • Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and forecasting.
  • Support the Controller or Finance Manager in year-end audits and tax submissions.
  • Review and enhance accounting workflows for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and company policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 46 years of accounting experience, including month-end reporting.
  • S
    trong Excel and accounting software skills (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, etc.).
  • Attention to detail, initiative, and analytical thinking are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across EST hours.
