Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Project Manager to join our growing Legal Technology consultancy. You will manage the successful delivery of technology projects for multiple clients across the legal sector, helping clients modernize their operations through the implementation of Microsoft-based solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious project professional who has early experience in IT or digital projects and wants to develop within the rapidly evolving legal technology industry. You will work with leading clients and corporate legal teams to deliver projects built on Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, and Azure, as well as integrated legal systems and custom applications.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of client projects — from initiation and planning through to delivery, handover, and post-implementation review.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams (consultants, developers, business analysts, and client stakeholders).
- Lead client-facing meetings and workshops to capture requirements, define scope, and set delivery expectations.
- Plan and monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent client engagements.
- Drive solution delivery based on Microsoft technologies, including:
- Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook)
- Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
- Azure-based applications, workflows, or integrations
- Produce and maintain clear project documentation (charters, plans, RAID logs, change requests, reports).
- Manage client communications, ensuring transparency, trust, and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management activities.
- Collaborate with the delivery management team to continuously improve project frameworks, templates, and methodologies.
Qualifications
Essential:
- 2–4 years' experience in IT or technology project management, ideally within a consultancy, vendor, or systems integrator environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
- Proven ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, and translating them into actionable deliverables.
- Comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
Desirable:
- Experience in or exposure to the legal sector, particularly law firms or in-house legal departments.
- Knowledge of legal business processes, such as document management, matter lifecycle, or case management.
- Understanding of information governance, data privacy, and compliance requirements relevant to legal clients.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Fluid, Microsoft Project, Planner, Jira, or Smartsheet.
- Relevant certifications such as Prince2, AgilePM, PMP/CAPM, or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals.
Key Attributes
- Professional, client-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proactive problem solver with a structured approach to project delivery.
- Ability to translate technical language into clear, business-relevant communication.
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing competing priorities.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Proven strong focus on project financial management.
