Buzz Kidz as a brand has worked with over kidz across South Africa over the last 13 years. Buzz Kidz Fourways, as a franchise, offers the Buzz Kidz program to kidz within the Fourways and surrounds area in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Our services include 3-in-1 Drama, Dance and Singing workshops in schools and independently across our franchise area. We also offer themed interactive birthday parties for kidz and holiday programs for schools.

The curricula is custom-developed for various cognitive developmental phases of childhood, and as such, Buzz Kidz develops original learning material, like music, to compliment and enrich the work.

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role located in City of Johannesburg for a Facilitator at Buzz Kidz Fourways. The Facilitator will be responsible for leading performing arts activities for children, delivering the engaging Buzz Kidz program, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants, and communicating effectively with school staff, parents and guardians.

Additionally, the Facilitator will be expected to deliver reporting such as workshops outcomes, progress reporting on individual child development and other ad hoc reporting as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in working with children in the performing arts is preferred
  • Relevant background or certifications in the performing arts or related fields
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to implement engaging and educational activities
  • First aid and CPR certification advantageous
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and patient personality
  • Ability to work on-site during scheduled hours in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg
  • Own, reliable transport is advantageous
