We're hiring: Junior Graphic & Digital Content Designer (1-year contract)

EMGuidance is looking for a creative and detail-oriented junior designer to join our team in Cape Town.

The role involves creating graphics, animations, and motion content for campaigns and digital platforms, as well as supporting product updates and day-to-day marketing projects. It's a great opportunity for a designer who wants to grow, learn, and be part of a small, supportive team that values initiative.

Education & Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in graphic design, digital media, marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in graphic design, animation, and digital content creation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
  • Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, typography, branding, and layout.
  • Experience producing engaging content for social media, web, and marketing campaigns.

Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience with HubSpot, Stripo, and Canva.
  • Familiarity with email campaign design and digital marketing assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging graphics, animations, and motion content for marketing campaigns and digital platforms.
  • Support the UX/UI design process for website and product updates.
  • Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to deliver visually compelling content.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and design critiques.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital and print deliverables.
  • Maintain and update digital asset libraries.
  • Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks when required.
