Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced junior Creative Graphic Designer based in Cape Town.

The Junior Creative Graphic Designer will be responsible for conceptualising and producing visual assets across campaigns, digital platforms, and print media. They will assist in developing brand-aligned creative concepts, designing layouts, and preparing artwork for client presentations, events, and activations. The role includes supporting senior designers in refining creative outputs, ensuring consistency across brand touchpoints, and contributing to social and digital content creation.

They will also collaborate closely with copywriters, PR teams, and account executives to bring ideas to life through compelling visuals. In this role, there will be opportunities to sharpen technical skills, experiment with innovative design approaches, and learn from one of the top creative and communications agencies in South Africa.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of experience in graphic design or visual communications
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere/After Effects) and other design tools
  • Demonstrated ability in content creation, layout design, and visual storytelling across digital and print platforms
  • Exposure to branding, campaign activations, and event collateral design
  • Familiarity with social media content design and digital asset management
  • Excellent visual communication skills, with an eye for detail and consistency
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams and maintain strong working relationships
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to deliver under tight deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or related field
  • Experience in the creative or communications sector and familiarity with industry best practices and emerging design trends
