Our client is a Telecommunications company that is on a mission to make WiFi great They are the fastest growing wireless internet service provider in Europe and have connected more than 7 million customers across the UK, Northern Ireland and Germany since we started out in 2007.
Their portfolio of recreational and corporate connectivity solutions serves the Student, Defence, Residential, Holiday Park and Enterprise sectors.
Purpose of this role
The Snr HR Administrator will play a key part in supporting the HR function by delivering accurate and efficient administrative services, with a focus on payroll input and HR data management. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and strong numeracy to ensure precision in payroll processing.
What you will be doing
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Maintain accurate employee records across HR systems and databases, ensuring compliance with POPIA and company policies.
- Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding, contract preparation, probation reviews, changes to terms, absence tracking and leavers.
- Collate, verify, and input payroll data with a high level of accuracy, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Work closely with the Finance/Payroll team to resolve payroll discrepancies and provide supporting documentation where needed.
- Verify and input the payroll data for the retirement fund each month, ensuring finance pay by the 6th of each month latest.
- Support HR reporting requirements, providing data analysis on headcount, absence, turnover, and other HR metrics.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrolments, renewals, and employee queries.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures.
- Support employee relations processes by preparing documentation, scheduling meetings, and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
Who you are
- Previous experience in an HR administration role +8 years, ideally at senior or lead level.
- Strong numeracy skills with proven experience in payroll input and data checking.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and HRIS systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Knowledge of SA employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience working within a fast-paced, multi-site or service-driven environment.
- Exposure to HR projects such as system implementations, engagement initiatives, or policy reviews.
