Key Responsibilities

· Supervise quality control operations across injection moulding and electrical assembly lines.

· Ensure full compliance with SABS, IEC, and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

· Conduct in-process, final, and incoming inspections of materials and finished products.

· Lead and mentor a team of quality inspectors; provide training and performance evaluations.

· Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and perform root cause analysis using 5 Whys and Fishbone methods.

· Collaborate with engineering and production departments to reduce defects and improve product quality.

· Maintain calibration systems and verification logs for testing and measuring equipment.

· Prepare and present monthly quality performance reports to management.

· Participate in internal and supplier audits to ensure ongoing compliance.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen, 5S, and Lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications and Experience

· National Diploma in Quality Management or equivalent qualification.

· Certificate in Injection Moulding Technology or related manufacturing field.

· Minimum 5 years' experience in a quality control or supervisory role within electrical or plastics manufacturing.

· Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and SABS product standards.

· Experience leading teams in a production environment with strong process discipline.

· Proficiency in root cause analysis and CAPA processes.

· Computer literacy (MS Office, ERP/QMS systems).
