We are seeking an exceptional Business Unit Executive to lead and drive strategic growth across our Trading Branches, Express Stores and Exports.   • Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred)
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the steel industry.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving financial targets.
  • Strong understanding of international trade, franchise models, and multi-market operations
  • Experience managing P&L and budgets.
  • Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen
  • Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
  • Deep understanding of supply chain, logistics, and distribution networks
  • Strong financial analysis and business modelling skills
  • Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies for the Trading Branches, Express Stores and Exports.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability across all business streams.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop market entry strategies.
  • Lead business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices across trading, franchise, and export functions.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across all markets.

Commercial Management

  • Negotiate and manage key commercial agreements and contracts.
  • Optimize supply chain and logistics operations for export markets.
  • Drive franchise network expansion and support existing franchisees.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Oversee Purchasing and Mill negotiations both locally and internationally in the Trading environment.

Leadership & People Development

  • Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and develop talent within the division.
  • Collaborate effectively with other business units and executive leadership.
