A Financial Services corporation is seeking a
Junior Systems Analyst
on a Permanent basis in
Constantia, Cape Town.

  • Applicants should be
    South African Citizens
  • Applicants should
    already be living in Cape Town, and have the ability to work in Constantia, Southern Suburbs (Cape Town)
  • Applicants should be comfortable with an
    in-office and Hybrid environment (~3 days in office per week)

Position Overview:

The
Junior Systems Analyst
will be responsible for the configuration and support of various IT Business Systems.

You'll need to have a passion for the more
technical side of Business and/or Systems analysis
with a
s
trong focus on systems, and
enjoy working on problems that have a solution based in accounting and mathematics
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor overall system health on a daily basis
  • Monitor and improve daily system controls
  • Monitor and ensure business and market data integrity
  • Source and manage new data integration requirements from business users
  • Test new instrument types to ensure end to end system integrity
  • Test and recreate system calculations to validate correct functioning
  • Implement configuration changes requested by business users that impact application views and behaviour
  • Identify process improvement opportunities
  • Work with the Vendor and IT implementation teams to implement change

Minimum Requirements:

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree
    in Finance, Data, Statistics, Mathematics
    or a related numeracy degree
  • 3 years' experience in Systems and/or Business Analysis
  • Financial & Data Analysis skills with a focus on Mathematical problem-solving
  • Exposure to Programming and/or Scripting
