About You
You're organized, curious, and eager to learn how the world of ecommerce and procurement works behind the scenes. You've got an eye for detail, love discovering new products, and can juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball.
You're a team player who's not afraid to take initiative, and you know how to communicate clearly, whether it's over email, on a call, or when chatting about the latest deal over coffee. You're ready to roll up your sleeves and learn what it takes to keep South Africa's biggest daily deals site running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Support the Procurement team in maintaining relationships between procurement and other departments.
- Assist with placing orders and tracking deliveries to ensure products arrive on time.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to keep information current and accurate.
- Help test and evaluate new products, ensuring they meet OneDayOnly's quality standards.
- Perform general administrative duties such as updating databases, organizing samples, and managing procurement documentation.
- Collaborate closely with the team, contributing ideas and helping to streamline processes, but also show initiative when working independently.
Experience And Qualifications
- A Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Retail, or a related field (beneficial).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
- A genuine interest in retail, ecommerce, and product sourcing.
