SAP Senior SolMan Enterprise Applications Consultant

Key purpose:

As an SAP Senior SolMan Enterprise Applications Consultant, you will provide consulting services to clients for support as well as projects in the ALM space. You will be working with business users on their SAP applications and integrating them into our products following the necessary internal or client processes required. You will also help businesses use these solutions more effectively for further development of the systems and processes within an organization.

You will be responsible for technical and functional configuration, administration, documentation, development, implementation, training and support of application lifecycle management functionality that the company provides to our customers. You will be working in a highly skilled dynamic ALM team across multiple clients for support and projects. You will be required to provide assistance and consultation to individuals across the organization within cross-functional teams adhering to the values of the company. You will engage in forward thinking team sessions where you are encouraged to provide input and will receive transparency on the ALM team ways of work and achievements including future opportunities in the ALM space.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Leverages fluency in technical languages, Application Lifecycle Management methodologies, application configuration, implementation and troubleshooting
• Demonstrates knowledge of software development life cycle, modelling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents.
• Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis and effort required
• Demonstrates knowledge of ALM concepts and methodologies including ITIL, Change Control Management, Testing concepts, BPMN and release strategies
• Documents, maintains and enhances ALM functionality for productive use at clients
• Resolves support issues involving production systems
• Drives adoption and value add of ALM functionalities
• Execute on authorization troubleshooting when required
• Key attention to client and business processes and procedures
• Stay current with SAP ALM developments and techniques, research new functionalities and tools, proactively recommends improvements
• Interfaces with client and internal business solution and Basis teams.

Qualifications and experience:

• Experience in the following SAP Solution Manager Implementation (Build) modules:
• Process Management (Solution Documentation)
• Test Management
• Change Control Management
• Requirements Management
• Release Management
• Experience in the following SAP Solution Manager Operations (Run) modules:
• IT Service Management
• System Monitoring
• Job Monitoring
• Integration Monitoring
• Focused Insights
• Work as SAP Technology SME in SAP ALM
• Understanding of authorization concepts within the ALM space
• Development of standards and procedures for the ALM processes and their relevant functionality
• Working experience in SAP implementation projects using Solution Manager as the delivery tool for Requirements to Deploy
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of management.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, an ability to work independently, and the ability to multi-task
• Key attention to documentation and processes
• Comfortable with presenting and training key ALM concepts, processes and functionality usage
• Experience in regulated environments (Pharma, etc.)
• SAP Cloud ALM experience advantageous
• PCOE experience advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Application Lifecycle Management consulting
• SAP ALM Certification required
• SAP openSAP ALM courses completion required
• ITIL Certification advantageous.
