Core purpose of the role

To clean and conduct quality checks on vehicles, run errands, assists with demos and test drives to contribute to the efficiency of the branch. Admin knowledge: Wizard and the understanding of basic computer skills required e.g. emails, excel and word (grammar, punctuation and spelling) Clear communication.

Key deliverables and outputs

Showroom Condition Vehicles

  • Inspect all received stock as per quality procedure
  • Complete quality checklist and provide to manager
  • Clean, prepare and maintain all vehicles in stock as per procedure
  • Inspect vehicle condition before and after vehicle went on VTC
  • Assist with ensuring all processes are in place at fuel pumps (tyre pressure checks/washer water and adjustments if necessary)
  • Report any new vehicle damage to manager immediately
  • Fleet check captured in Wizard – report cars with expired license and call for new.

Errands

  • Drop off and collect documents as required
  • Assist with daily branch functions, when requested.

Demos, Test-Drives and Deliveries

  • Assist with demo's, test drives and deliveries when required.

Stakeholders

  • Attend daily huddles and team meetings as required.

Academic Qualifications

Essential:

  • Matric
  • Valid Driver's License.

Note:
This position will require working outdoors and a level of general physical fitness.

Work Experience

Essential:

  • Must be well presented.

Advantageous:

  • Previous experience as a Driver.
