Role Purpose
Th purpose of a Driver Engagement Specialist is to deliver engaging, accessible, and operationally relevant communication and training content to support last-mile delivery drivers. The role ensures drivers are equipped with the knowledge and tools to operate safely, comply with regulations, and deliver excellent customer service.

Role Description
Service Delivery

  • Deliver microlearning content and communication aligned to operational needs.
  • Ensure timely and relevant updates to driver-facing materials across digital and in-person platforms.
  • Maintain a content calendar and audit trail to support consistent delivery.

Task Management

  • Plan and organise own tasks to meet agreed performance standards.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions and onboarding programs.
  • Track attendance and engagement metrics for training and communication initiatives.

Issue Resolution

  • Escalate unresolved issues from driver feedback or training sessions to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement by analysing survey and engagement data.

Operational Support

  • Assist in implementing driver safety programs and onboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with operations and control hub teams to ensure alignment of content with field realities.
  • Provide support for annual and ad-hoc driver engagement surveys.

Specialist Knowledge

  • Apply instructional design principles to create content tailored for a diverse driver audience.
  • Translate complex procedures into simple, visual, and multilingual formats.
  • Leverage mobile-first platforms and digital tools to enhance content delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Marketing, Communication, or related field - (essential).
  • +2 years' experience in instructional design, marketing, or communications - (essential).
  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle - (essential).
  • Motorbike licence - (preferred).
  • Knowledge of road safety or logistics operations - (preferred).

Location:

You will need to alternate between 100 Edward Street, Bo-Oakdale and Fairbridge offices in Brackenfell.
