About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Partner Senior Specialist to join our HR Partnership team in South Africa. This role plays a crucial part in driving the strategic HR agenda in our Logistics division, partnering closely with business leaders to support organizational goals and enhance workforce capabilities within CEVA Logistics South Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management and business units to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives within the logistics sector.
- Provide expert guidance and support on complex employee relations matters, fostering a fair, respectful, and inclusive workplace environment.
- Drive talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning to ensure business continuity and growth.
- Partner with the recruitment team to attract and retain diverse top talent consistent with the company's diversity and inclusion goals.
- Advise on compliance with South African labor laws and regulations, ensuring all HR practices meet legal requirements and company policies.
- Lead or support change management efforts and organizational development projects to improve business effectiveness and employee engagement.
- Champion employee well-being and foster a positive work culture that supports high performance and personal development.
- Coach and develop line managers to enhance their HR capabilities, promote leadership effectiveness, and encourage constructive feedback and communication.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to senior leaders facilitating informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within logistics or a related industry.
- Proven ability to build strong partnerships with business leaders and influence outcomes at various organizational levels.
- Excellent knowledge of South African labor legislation and HR best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential issues with discretion.
- Demonstrated experience in talent development, employee relations, and organizational change initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusivity and respect for diversity.
- Relevant HR qualifications or certifications are preferred.
