We are seeking the expertise of a Cost Accountant to support the continued growth and efficiency of an export fruit operation.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years Cost Accounting in Agri Packing industry
  • Relevant Accounting Degree
  • Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles will be an advantage.
  • Fluent in both English and Afrikaans.
  • Advanced Excel
  • Experience in ERP systems and BOM

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accurate costing of operations
  • Conduct cost analysis
  • Prepare detailed reports for operational activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate inventory variances, production inefficiencies, and wastage.
  • Manage product costing, inventory reporting, and maintenance.
  • Oversee inventory management processes.
  • Work closely with production and finance teams to design and implement cost control measures.
  • Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
  • Prepare daily and weekly productivity reports.
  • Assist with the rollout and implementation of new systems.
