Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Accountant based in the City of Cape Town. The Cost Accountant will handle tasks including preparing, maintaining, and analyzing cost records, budgets, and financial statements. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, monitoring production costs, compiling cost reports for management, providing financial and analytical insights for business operations, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations. This role requires collaboration with various departments to support informed decision-making and maintain financial efficiency within the business. Qualifications Proficiency in Cost Accounting, including tracking and analyzing costs effectively. Strong knowledge and experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements. Highly developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and trends. Experience with Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger management. Solid understanding of Finance principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines. Prior experience in the printing, packaging, or manufacturing industry is an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
