Electrical/Energy Engineer- Renewable Energy Industry

Hire Resolve's client in the Renewable Energy industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Renewable Energy Engineer in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage renewable energy projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for renewable energy installations.
- Design and engineer renewable energy systems, including solar PV, wind, and hydro.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues that arise.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- 10 – 15 years' experience in renewable energy project management or engineering.
- Proficiency in renewable energy system design software (e.g., PVsyst, WindPRO).
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certification or licensure in renewable energy engineering (e.g., PEng, RE).
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations for renewable energy projects.
- Must be able to use Outlook/Email, Shared Drive, Google Chrome, Excel, and Word.
- Preferential: Driver's license and driving experience.
- Based in Johannesburg.
- Meticulous recording of information, filing, and paperwork.
- Must be self-driven and highly motivated to achieve results and continuously improve skills and learning.

- Customer Service oriented.
