Ecommerce Product Coordinator

The Ecommerce Product Coordinator is responsible for supporting and optimising all aspects of product management and website operations across our online stores. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong organisational skills and an understanding of digital merchandising and product lifecycle management. Working closely with the Ecommerce and Content teams, the Coordinator ensures product data accuracy, timely updates, and an exceptional online shopping experience.
Job Description:
1. Product Management
- Create, upload, and maintain product listings, ensuring all information (titles, descriptions, pricing, and imagery) is accurate and up to date.
- Manage product categorisation, tagging, and attributes to improve navigation and on-site search.
- Coordinate with the photography and content teams to ensure all product images and assets meet brand standards and specifications.
- Assist in monitoring stock availability and coordinating updates with relevant teams.
2. Order Processing & Fulfillment
- Support the processing of online orders, returns, and exchanges, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
- Collaborate with the customer service and warehouse teams to resolve order-related queries or discrepancies.
3. Customer Experience Support
- Respond to customer inquiries via email or telephone in a professional and timely manner.
- Document and escalate customer feedback to help improve product data, user experience, and service quality.
4. Website Maintenance
- Assist with regular product and content updates to ensure the site remains current, functional, and visually consistent.
- Conduct routine checks to identify and report any site errors or bugs.
- Ensure product pages and site navigation are optimized for conversion and usability.
5. Administrative Support
- Maintain organised records of product data, images, and documentation.
- Coordinate internal communications, meetings, and timelines with cross-functional teams.
- Support the Ecommerce team with ad-hoc administrative and operational tasks as needed.

Remuneration: R15K CTC pm
