About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized
Staff Accountant I
to join our Finance team at Overture Promotions Inc. You will play a key role in supporting financial management, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance. If you have a solid foundation in accounting principles and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the general ledger with journal entries
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations (prepaids, accruals, AR)
  • Enter financial data accurately and promptly into accounting software
  • Process and reconcile customer/vendor rebates on various schedules
  • Manage asset listings and calculate depreciation
  • Support internal and external audits with documentation and assistance
  • Assist with month-end close and financial analysis to aid decision-making
  • Allocate freight invoices and review employee expense reports per company policy
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and finance team on special projects

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (NetSuite preferred) is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills
