Our client is looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join their high-energy technology environment, where innovation, agility, and commercial outcomes drive every delivery.

In this role, you will take ownership of several strategic programmes, ensuring they are executed effectively, meet organisational goals, and contribute meaningful value. You will operate within a high-performing PMO, partnering with technology, data, and business stakeholders to deliver initiatives that move the organisation forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Programmes:
    Drive end-to-end delivery of large, multi-stream programmes, ensuring strong coordination and oversight from inception to closure.
  • Enable Innovation:
    Champion the introduction of modern tools, processes, and technologies that support faster, better, and more efficient delivery.
  • Risk & Issue Control:
    Proactively identify potential risks and issues, and put in place the right actions to maintain programme momentum and success.
  • Governance & Execution:
    Implement and uphold programme governance standards, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and delivery quality.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Build trusted relationships with senior business and technology leaders, providing clear communication on progress, challenges, and dependencies.
  • Commercial Impact:
    Ensure each initiative delivers measurable business value and supports broader strategic and financial priorities.
  • Team Leadership:
    Support, coach, and develop PMO team members including project managers, business analysts, and other delivery professionals.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Programme Management Expertise:
    Minimum 10 years' experience running complex technology or transformation programmes.
  • Methodological Knowledge:
    Strong grounding in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery frameworks. Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile are beneficial.
  • Industry Experience:
    Background in tech-led, data-driven, or service-oriented environments is an advantage.
  • Outstanding Communication
    : Skilled in senior stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Leadership Ability
    : Proven capability to motivate, guide, and drive multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Commercial Mindset:
    Ability to translate programme outcomes into financial impact and business value.
  • Technical Understanding:
    Comfortable working closely with technical teams and interpreting delivery requirements.
