Kitchen Cook – Baker & Bean (Simon's Town)

We're looking for an experienced Kitchen Cook to join our busy daytime café in Simon's Town.

Applicants must live nearby and have reliable transport — this is non-negotiable.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a café or restaurant kitchen
  • Available for weekend and public holiday shifts
  • Immediate start

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and cooking breakfast and light-lunch menu items to high standards
  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene (daily deep-clean routines)
  • Stock rotation, prep lists, and waste control
  • Assisting with food presentation and plating consistency
  • Supporting the Chef and team with efficient service during peak hours
