Role Purpose

Monitor, evaluate, assess and report on the impact of CSI programmes in line with legislative requirements and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Social Sciences, Accounting or related
  • At least 3-5 years relevant experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and understanding of Corporate and Social Investment policies and practices
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of BBBEE regulations
  • Experience in report writing
  • Track record in delivering successful Monitoring, Evaluation & Compliance Projects
  • Experience in monitoring and programme evaluation
  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data analysis

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead in the design and implementation of a monitoring framework to track delivery against goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to projects across the Group as a centre of excellence on monitoring and evaluation.
  • Facilitate monitoring and evaluation focused pre-application sessions with prospective grantees to ensure alignment with the M&E framework.
  • Consult and facilitate stakeholder engagement and undertaking of visits to project sites as needed to track progress of programs
  • Monitor progress towards the achievement of the results of outputs and outcomes using key indicators.
  • Schedule periodic appraisal of progress towards the achievement of intended results/outcomes.
  • Review monitoring and evaluation findings and follow-up on implementation of the recommendations
  • Undertake site visits to service providers and complete monitoring reports and distributing them back to the service providers.
  • Develop quarterly reports to the Foundation Board and Momentum Group Exco on all Foundation projects and initiatives.
  • Address all Board and Exco concerns and integrate feedback into programme planning.
  • Facilitate and oversee an independent evaluation for Youth Employment, Consumer Education
  • Implement measures to ensure that evaluation findings are utilised in planning and implementation stages.

Finance

  • Monitor the Foundation spend against the set budget
  • Work closely with the finance department in managing the Foundation and Ops budget
  • Make plans to cover variations
  • Set budgets for operational expenditure
  • Monitor the operational spend against the set budget
  • Make plans for the variations
  • Manage the financial audit of the Foundation annually
  • Respond to all queries which arise from the audit and provide supporting evidence

BBBEE Audit

  • Manage the BBBEE audit for the Foundation annually
  • Maintain BBBEE information by collecting and capturing data received
  • Work closely with the Group Transformation team to ensure that the Foundation meets the necessary requirements
  • Resolve all BBBEE enquiries timeously and effectively
  • Work closely with the portfolio specialist to maintain an effective filing system
  • Compile and maintain Group CSI and CFE data
