We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior UX/UI Designer
to support a major website project on a part-time consulting basis. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can work independently, provide strategic design guidance, and mentor a junior designer (Corlia) throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for end-to-end UX/UI delivery—from user flows to wireframes—primarily using Figma.

About the Role

As a UX/UI Designer, you will create intuitive, engaging, and seamless digital experiences by applying user-centered design principles from concept to implementation. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse user needs, and translate ideas into polished design assets. Your expertise in responsive design, UX best practices, and high-quality prototyping will be essential in driving the success of this project.

Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Strong competency in
    design thinking
    , interaction design, and information architecture.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g.,
    Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, InDesign, Zeplin, UXPin, Balsamiq
    ).
  • Solid experience with wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g.,
    InVision,
    ).
  • Deep understanding of
    User-Centered Design (UCD)
    , including user research, usability testing, A/B testing, heuristic evaluation, rapid prototyping, and accessibility standards.
  • Ability to engage with clients, extract requirements, and design complete user experiences aligned with business and user goals.
  • Extensive knowledge of
    mobile-first and responsive design
    .
  • Business acumen—ability to align design solutions with company objectives and KPIs.
  • Hands-on experience working in
    Agile
    environments, including:
  • Sprint planning
  • Daily stand-ups
  • Backlog grooming
  • Requirement elicitation
  • Retrospectives

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and evaluate user requirements with product managers and engineers.
  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Create user stories, personas, journeys, and design assets optimized for multiple devices.
  • Illustrate design ideas through storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
  • Define interaction models and evaluate usability effectiveness.
  • Lead UX activities including research, conceptualisation, prototyping, and user testing.
  • Design UI elements such as menus, tabs, widgets, layouts, and navigation components.
  • Develop prototypes and mockups that clearly communicate functionality and aesthetics.
  • Produce original graphics aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Present design ideas and drafts to developers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct usability tests, gather feedback, and apply layout/design adjustments.
  • Solve complex UX challenges with innovative and user-centric solutions.
