The Role
We are looking for a
Senior Brand/Account Manager
to lead one of our
largest global B2B clients
. This role combines
client leadership, campaign execution, and brand guardianship
. You'll be the central point of contact, responsible for managing stakeholder relationships, strategy implementation, coordinating global and regional campaigns, updating procedural documents and ensuring the brand is represented consistently and effectively worldwide.
This is a role for someone who thrives on both the
big picture and the details
. You'll oversee global processes, strategy development, budgets, and reporting, but also roll up your sleeves to polish copy, refine a deck, or step in where execution needs extra attention.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client within our consultancy, building strong and trusted relationships.
- Lead regular stakeholder meetings across client teams, agency partners, and internal teams (content, ads, analytics).
- Translate client briefs into actionable deliverables for team members and ensure alignment across global and regional stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations with transparency and professionalism.
Campaign & Project Management
- Oversee end-to-end digital campaign execution across multiple global regions, and channel touchpoints blending organic and paid seamlessly.
- Coordinate and manage internal teams (strategy, content, design, paid media, reporting) to deliver integrated, effective campaigns.
- Manage campaign collateral: saving, organising, and sharing assets for global and regional use.
- Maintain and update process documentation (content plans, ad tracking, workflows, reporting templates).
- Track campaign progress, flag risks early, and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Brand Stewardship & Hands-On Execution
- Serve as brand guardian, ensuring consistency of tone, messaging, and visuals across all outputs.
- Step in directly when needed: refining copy, tightening strategy decks, or ensuring creative executions meet brand standards.
- Work with creative teams to adapt global campaigns for local markets without compromising brand identity.
- Support quality assurance across content, ads, and communications.
Budget & Performance Management
- Help manage and oversee campaign and media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and accurate reporting.
- Work with analytics and media teams to track KPIs, prepare reports, and present insights to the client.
- Identify opportunities for optimisation in campaign delivery and spend.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Support and guide junior and mid-level team members where needed.
- Foster a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Encourage cross-functional collaboration between internal and external teams.
Skills & Experience
- 5–7+ years' experience in Brand Account Management, marketing strategy, or integrated communications.
- Proven experience leading a large-scale enterprise or global client account.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with experience using tools like
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong copywriting/editing ability.
- Solid understanding of digital channels (website, social, paid media, content, CRM, analytics) and how they work together.
- Strong client presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing budgets and reporting on spend effectiveness.
- Strategic thinker with the confidence to be hands-on when execution requires it.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across time zones and regions.

Hybrid, Johannesburg-based. Primarily remote with ad hoc client and team meet-ups.
Employment Type:
6 Month Full-Time Contract.
Package:
R R35 000 depending on skills & experience.
