Henlo and Co PTY (Ltd) is a fast-growing South African commercial espresso machine manufacturing company with a strong emphasis on design, performance, and innovation. We are looking to set our brand in the public eye as a premium product ready for a global market.

SUMMARY

We're looking for a versatile and hands-on Marketing and Brand Manager to lead all marketing and brand activities for our company. This role combines strategic planning, creative campaign execution, and event management.

You'll be responsible for building brand awareness, driving lead generation channels, and ensuring consistent communication across all channels, from digital to in-person experiences like expos and launches.

As part of a small, fast-moving team, you'll be involved in everything from strategy to content creation and on-site event execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Strategy & Brand Development

  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain a strong, consistent brand identity across all channels.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer insights to refine messaging and campaigns.

Digital Marketing

  • Manage the company's online presence, including website, social media, and digital advertising.
  • Oversee/Create and schedule social media posts, newsletters, and product announcements.
  • Track analytics (Google Analytics, Meta, Mailchimp, etc.) and report on campaign performance.
  • Assist in content development (copy, photos, videos) for digital campaigns and promotions.

Event Management

  • Plan, organise, and execute trade shows, exhibitions, product launches, and industry events.
  • Coordinate logistics (bookings, branding materials, stand design, setup, and transport).
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure events deliver business value.
  • Manage event budgets, supplier relationships, and post-event reporting.
  • Handle all event-related marketing — invitations, social campaigns, and press coverage.

Sales & Customer Support

  • Work closely with the sales team to generate leads and support campaigns that drive sales.
  • Create marketing collateral (brochures, spec sheets, presentations).
  • Support customer engagement initiatives, loyalty programs, and promotions.

Public Relations & Partnerships

  • Build relationships with media, suppliers, and industry partners.
  • Coordinate press releases and media coverage for new products or milestones.
  • Manage collaborations or sponsorships that align with the brand.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a product or retail-based business
  • Strong grasp of digital marketing tools (social media, Google Ads, Mailchimp, Canva, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Hands-on, creative, and comfortable working in a small team environment.
  • Experience with event planning or coordination is essential.
  • Ability to match brand image to existing brand guidelines.
  • Photography, design, or video editing skills are a plus.
