Role Description
This full-time, on-site role is based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area. As a Valve Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing valve systems, creating detailed engineering drawings, and ensuring that designs meet industry standards and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with other engineers and departments, conducting tests to verify product performance, and refining designs based on test results and feedback.
Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical design and engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for valve systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Prior experience in the valve design or industrial processing sector is a plus
