Overview Coding PLC Programmer Automation Manufacturing CompanyJoin to apply for the Coding PLC Programmer Automation Manufacturing Company role at Diverse Consulting Solutions (Pty) Ltd.Electrical + Coding PLC Programmer on Delta OR Siemens or other PLCs; experience in an Automation Manufacturing Materials Factory preferred. Responsibilities Perform PLC programming and coding on PLCs (Delta, Siemens, Omron, or other PLCs) including ladder logic, fault finding, integration, and HMI support. Install, configure drives, wire PLCs, sensors, conductors, relays, and build control cabinets and panels; work with actuators. Participate in factory automation, maintenance, and commissioning of automation production machines. Work with valves of different sizes; pneumatics and hydraulics experience; HMI operations. Assist in designing brackets for sensor mounting and in the design and implementation of automated production solutions. Train team members on PLCs (advantage); assist with electrical installations and electrical / electronic circuit design and construction. Estimate materials and assist with project planning where applicable. Aluminum machining experience (advantage but not essential). Qualifications Matric certificate (or equivalent) – essential. Electrical qualification or Trade Tested Electrician Red Seal – essential. Training in PLC programming and coding on PLCs required. 3–5+ years of experience in an automation manufacturing materials company, performing electrical work, PLC programming, and coding on PLCs (Delta / Siemens / Ladder logic / Omron or other PLCs). Experience in FMCG manufacturing environments (e.g., boards, glass, aluminum, materials, plastics, office furniture, valves, etc.). Strong electrical experience with drives (Festo or other drives) – very important. Experience installing and wiring drives, PLCs, sensors, conductors, relays, cabinets, panels, and actuators. Factory automation and maintenance experience; electrical fault finding and maintenance; HMI experience. Experience with valves, pneumatics and hydraulics; training people on PLCs (advantage). Electrical installations experience; able to program and integrate with various automation systems and devices. Experience with automation production machines; estimating materials (advantage but not essential). Experience in electrical and electronic circuit design and construction; mechanical milling, fitting and turning (advantage). Employment Details Willing to work overtime (weekends and / or evenings) with overtime pay; willing to relocate near OR Tambo if needed. Own reliable car and driver's license.Available to start as soon as possible.
