DC Meat are seeking a Fleet Tracking Controller to oversee and manage our cold chain logistics fleet operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring vehicle movements, maintaining cold chain compliance, ensuring driver efficiency, and supporting on-time, safe, and compliant deliveries.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor real-time fleet movements and vehicle CCTV using C-Track or similar tracking systems.

  • Ensure temperature compliance and report deviations immediately.

  • Communicate effectively with drivers to coordinate routes, delays, and deliveries.

  • Record and analyse trip data, fuel usage, and driver performance.

  • Ensure all vehicles meet maintenance and calibration requirements.

  • Compile daily, weekly, and monthly tracking and performance reports.

  • Support the logistics manager in optimizing delivery efficiency and cold chain integrity.

  • Respond to fleet emergencies and implement corrective actions promptly.

Minimum requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.

  • 2–3 years' experience in fleet control, logistics, or cold chain operations.

  • Experience with C-Track, Mix Telematics, or similar fleet management systems.

  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

  • Knowledge of cold chain management and food safety standards (advantageous).
