Minimum Qualifications

  • Have NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults).

Requirements

  • Be aware that this position is based at Beatrix Operations
  • Have a clear security screening record.
  • Be medically fit to work in a specific business area.
  • Have a valid driver's license and own reliable transportation
  • Have at least 3 years' experience within a Facilitators role.

Advantageous Qualifications

  • Blasting certificate and/or NQF 5 (Higher Certificate) Occupational Certificate Learning and Development Practitioner and/or HRD FET.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up on training outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and sustained impact on team dynamics and safety culture.
  • Reflective and self-aware facilitator who models values-based decision-making
  • Skilled at building trust, motivating teams, and addressing performance issues constructively
  • Compile comprehensive outcomes reports, including visual interpretations and assessments, with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Emotionally intelligent communicator who values diversity and inclusion
  • Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and commitment to safe production and continuous learning
  • Develop and facilitate interactive workshops focused on team effectiveness, safety culture, values alignment, emotional intelligence and motivational techniques that are central to the improvement of Safety Culture.
  • Provide ongoing support to teams in implementing changes and maintaining progress.
  • Conduct engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars
  • Administer and analyze team values surveys, team relationships, conflict management, team charters, team motivation models, diversity, inclusion, and equity (DI&E) models, and EQ models.
  • Utilize a blended learning approach, incorporating low ropes courses, team-building activities, and practical exercises.

Additional Requirements

  • Have ability to address performance issues effectively and solving problems by following established processes.
  • Skilful in using techniques such as classroom learning, storytelling, demonstrations, role playing, team building activities, flip chart-based information gathering, brainstorming and oneon- one coaching.
  • Have excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Have computer Skills (MS Office).
  • Have the ability to enable conceptualisation and practice through experiential learning facilitation, comprehensive knowledge of the training themes and topics.
  • Have the ability to facilitate individual and team development support to embrace organisational growth required to thrive within a production / services team at the relevant operations.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
