Performance Objectives for Year One

  • Architect and Lead a Flagship Commercial AI Project: Within the first 12 months, conceptualize, lead, and deliver a new, commercially viable prescriptive analytics product for a key industry vertical (e.g., property, automotive). Success will be defined by the successful prototype and a clear roadmap to production.
  • Overhaul the Machine Learning Prototyping Framework: Within the first 9 months, design and implement a new strategic framework for the rapid iteration and prototyping of predictive models. The goal is to demonstrably accelerate the concept-to-deployment lifecycle for new AI-driven product features.
  • Establish a New Standard for 'Explainable AI' (XAI): Champion and embed the principles of XAI across the analytics function. Within the first year, develop and implement a new standard for communicating complex model outcomes to non-technical executives and external clients, ensuring greater clarity, trust, and adoption of our solutions.
  • Elevate the Advanced Data Science Team's Capability: Evolve the existing high-performing data science team by creating and rolling out a new professional development and mentorship roadmap. The objective is to measurably elevate the team's capabilities, enabling them to take full ownership of more complex, end-to-end AI projects.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Analytics Strategy: In partnership with the Chief Analytics Officer and leaders in Data, Software, and Product, co-develop the analytics and AI strategy. Success in the first year will involve leading a key cross-functional initiative that integrates a new advanced model into one of the company's core platform systems.
