Branch Manager – Agriculture

This isn't your average branch leadership role. Think tractors, trade, tenders, and transformation. You'll be leading a branch that services the nation's primary industries, working with market-leading brands (yes, that includes a certain orange tractor), and helping shape the future of farming in PNG.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee end-to-end operations—sales, admin, parts, service, and safety.
  • Build and manage relationships with commercial growers, agribusiness clients, and government stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team, championing development and succession.
  • Drive growth across machinery, spare parts, and service contracts.
  • Maintain sharp financial discipline, control OPEX, and deliver on sales targets.
  • Keep one eye on the competition and the other on customer satisfaction.

What You'll Need

  • 5yrs plus experience in agriculture or machinery sales—or transferable leadership experience in similar technical environments.
  • A proven track record of branch or operational management, ideally in a regional or developing market.
  • Good technical knowledge and understanding systems, tractor repair and maintenance, power generation products and tools would be an advantage
  • Commercial savvy with the resilience and resourcefulness to adapt to seasonal cycles
  • Experience in negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Demonstrate ability to apply strategic vision to procurement strategy.
  • Working knowledge of PRONTO would be an advantage
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire a diverse team.
  • A sense of adventure (and maybe a partner who's ready for one too).
