Branch Manager – Retail Branch (Pietermaritzburg)

Join a global leader in agricultural innovation. Our client, is seeking an experienced and driven Branch Manager to lead our retail branch to new heights of success. This pivotal role is responsible for achieving all branch performance targets, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full accountability for branch performance, profitability, and productivity.
  • Drive wholegoods and parts sales while developing marketing and new business strategies.
  • Grow branch market share and enhance customer satisfaction through effective relationship management.
  • Oversee workshop financial and operational performance.
  • Manage a team of approximately 25 employees, ensuring optimal human capital development.
  • Control budgets, expenses, stock planning, debtors, and creditors.
  • Safeguard company assets, systems, and customer goodwill.
  • Prepare and present management reports and audit outcomes.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in people, sales, and parts management (preferably in the agricultural or mechanisation industry).
  • Proven workshop and after-sales service management expertise.
  • Strong B2C experience and engagement with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, SAP, and internal business systems.
  • Diploma or Degree in Retail, Marketing, Sales, or Operations Management (Technical qualification advantageous).
