Brand Manager – Alcoholic Beverages (JHB & Cape Town)

We are currently recruiting
Brand Managers
for multiple clients within the
alcoholic beverages industry
, with roles based in
Johannesburg and Cape Town
. These positions suit commercially minded marketers with strong end-to-end brand management experience and a passion for building premium brands in a competitive FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end brand management across strategy, planning, execution, and performance tracking
  • Develop and execute brand strategies aligned to consumer insights, category dynamics, and commercial objectives
  • Drive
    innovation and NPD
    , including new products, line extensions, packs, and formats from concept to launch
  • Manage annual brand plans, activation calendars, and marketing investment to deliver volume, value, and brand health growth
  • Partner closely with sales, trade marketing, finance, agencies, and distributors to ensure strong in-market execution
  • Monitor and analyse brand, consumer, shopper, and competitor data to optimise performance and investment decisions
  • Support pricing, portfolio, and mix strategies with a clear understanding of
    P&L and commercial drivers
  • Ensure alignment with global brand guidelines where applicable, while adapting plans for the local market

Key Requirements:

  • 5 + years' experience in
    brand management
    within FMCG,
    preferably alcoholic beverages
  • Proven
    end-to-end marketing
    experience, from strategy through to execution and evaluation
  • Strong experience in
    innovation and NPD
  • Solid
    commercial acumen
    with experience managing budgets and understanding P&L drivers
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Honours preferred)
