Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented B-BBEE / HR Intern to assist in the implementation and administration of our Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) initiatives and other Human Resources operational activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong administrative and project management skills, the ability to communicate effectively with employees, be approachable and professional, and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in compiling and maintaining B-BBEE compliance documentation.

  • Support the team in data collection, verification, and analysis for B-BBEE reporting.

  • Coordinate administrative tasks related to B-BBEE scorecard management.

  • Assist with stakeholder engagement to ensure compliance with B-BBEE requirements.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is up to date.

  • Support the team with Employment Equity and Skills Development initiatives.

  • Manage project management initiatives within the HR Business Unit.

  • Contribute to HR operational projects and ensure timely execution of assigned deliverables.

Requirements

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and be approachable.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work within set guidelines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. ​

  • You must have finished your studies in the last 12 months.

Qualifications


•    HR or relevant compliance qualification.

•    A Project Management qualification would be advantageous.
