POSITION: Stock Controller/Administrator

LOCATION: Gauteng (Northriding)

REPORTING TO: Nursery Manager

Job Purpose

Responsible for the correct storing, movement and stock take of goods / consumable

and product inventory according to company procedures.

Duties:
  • Regularly check and maintain stock levels to ensure they meet business needs.
  • Place orders to replenish stock as needed and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, purchases, and pricing.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Liaise with suppliers to manage orders, negotiate deals, and resolve any issues with deliveries.
  • Implement and improve inventory management processes and procedures.
  • Compile and present reports on inventory status, discrepancies, and other relevant metrics.
  • Compile month-end finance reports
Qualification details:
  • Grade 12
 

Experience:
  • Preferable 2 years' operational inventory control experience
  • MS Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is a big advantage or any other Microsoft ERP such as Navision and Axapta (BC or F&O)
