Job Purpose:

To plan, execute, and finalize construction and infrastructure projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources, coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors, and ensuring that all aspects of the project meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in line with client requirements.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, proposals, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Lead and supervise project teams to ensure effective performance and adherence to project goals.
  • Oversee procurement, contracts, and resource allocation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Copy of valid registration with SACPCMP: Professional Construction Manager (PrCM) or Professional Construction Project Manager (PrCPM)
  • OR
  • Copy of valid registration with ECSA:

Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr Tech Eng) or Professional Engineer (Pr Eng)

  • Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–10 years' experience in project management within the construction or infrastructure sector.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
