Support to Sales Management ?

?Assist sales team in developing strategic plans to protect and grow customer relationships.

?Provide technical and commercial support to sales team to recover any lost business on strategic product portfolios.

New Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Proactively identifying and pursue new customers or business opportunities to drive volume growth per product.
  • Introducing and developing new products or agencies that align with portfolio goals and market demands.
  • Managing and implementing growth strategies across all sectors where the supplier is active, ensuring long-term expansion and profitability.

?Market Intelligence & Strategic Positioning

  • Building and maintaining a robust product/customer database segmented by product line.
  • Gathering in-depth competitive intelligence on market players, including company profiles, product offerings, pricing strategies, and sourcing details.
  • Providing valuable input toward the monthly pricing strategy, ensuring competitiveness and profitability in alignment with market conditions.

Stock & Supply Coordination

  • Taking ownership of slow-moving and redundant stock within the portfolio, implementing actions to improve stock turnover and reduce write-offs.
  • Assisting in the coordination of national stock ordering and product distribution to support consistent supply and sales performance.

Customer Engagement & Compliance

  • Organizing and coordinating customer site visits and audits, ensuring a professional and seamless process that aligns with compliance standards and customer expectations.

  • Responsible for arranging and hosting engagements and visits of assigned principals at customers; this will include both face to face engagements and virtual meetings.

  • Extensive knowledge of the Industrial market segment.

  • Experience in Overseas and Local Principal Management.

?Ability to introduce new principals and product ranges to the market.

?Team Player.

?Self-motivated individual who has the discipline to manage themselves.

?Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

?Ability to work in a very pressurized environment.

?Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

?Excellent planning ability and execution ability.

Qualifications and Education requirements

  • A tertiary qualification, preferably a Chemical Degree or Diploma.
  • A Minimum 3 year?s technical experience within the Coatings, Paints, Construction, Water Treatment, Plastics, or other relevant Industrial Field.
  • A Minimum 3 year?s technical sales experience of Industrial Chemicals and/or Commodity Products into the Industrial market segment.
