Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Product Designer (UX/UI Designer) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have 2-3+ years of experience in digital product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX for mobile and web applications. You should be highly proficient in Figma and other prototyping tools, with a deep understanding of design systems, component-based design, and interactive prototyping. You will be responsible for crafting seamless user experiences, intuitive interfaces, and high-quality visual designs that align with business goals and user needs.

Requirements:

• 2-3+ years of experience in a UI/UX role and a portfolio of professional design projects – with examples of both mobile and web applications.
• 2+ years of experience designing for eCommerce (in-house or agency) would be a bonus.
• A good understanding of how core eCommerce journeys work.
• Design thinking focused on conversions and frictionless online shopping.
• Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, and the like is a must. Experience in creating wireframes, user flows and site maps.
• Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
• Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• Ability to map out complex UX journeys.
• A clear understanding of the importance of user-centric design and design thinking.
• Experience completing quantitative and qualitative research (e.g., user research, heuristic evaluations, competitor analysis, data analysis, etc.).
• Passionate about design and pushing the boundaries of eCommerce.
• Real enthusiasm, creativity, and excitement – who is not afraid to suggest new ideas.
• To have great time management skills
• Team player
• Able to work closely with various departments within the company, clients and end-users will work in the candidate's favour.
• Experience working with Magento or other similar eCommerce platforms.
• Experience in planning, facilitation, and managing User-Testing sessions.
• Interaction design experience
• Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus
• Knowledge of user testing, evaluation, and analytical tools, including but not limited to, Hotjar, Google Analytics.

• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, and manage the expectations of both your teammates and the clients
