We are seeking an experienced, service -oriented Travel Designer. This role is central to crafting seamless, luxury safari experiences for discerning guests across Sub -Saharan Africa. You will be the primary point of contact for guests and agents, handling reservations with precision and curating personalized itineraries that reflect the lodge's high standards of excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all reservations from initial inquiry to final confirmation, ensuring exceptional service at every stage.Liaise with guests, travel agents, and DMC partners to design tailored safari itineraries.Provide accurate information on lodge facilities, activities, and regional highlights.Coordinate guest logistics including flights, transfers, and special requests.Maintain up -to -date booking records and manage availability using the reservations system.Work closely with lodge operations to ensure guest expectations are communicated and met.Handle invoicing, payments, and reconciliation's in line with company policies.Deliver prompt, professional responses to all guest and agent communications.Proactively upsell lodge services and unique experiences to enhance guest stays.Assist with reporting, forecasting, and yield management to optimize occupancy and revenue. RequirementsMinimum 3 years' experience in reservations, travel design, or luxury hospitality.Proven knowledge of high -end safari travel and Sub -Saharan destinations.Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages an advantage).Proficiency in reservations/booking systems (Panstrat, ResRequest, Opera, or similar).Ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining a guest -centric approach.Strong commercial acumen with experience in invoicing and payment processes.Passion for African travel and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
