About the team:
The Product Marketing team sits at the heart of Luno's product ecosystem, bridging the gap between innovation and customer understanding. We work closely with Product and various stakeholders to define how each new product, feature, or improvement is brought to life in the market. Our mission is to make crypto accessible, trusted, and easy to understand by crafting clear go-to-market strategies and narratives that connect with customers across regions and experience levels. From shaping messaging and positioning to guiding launches and collecting insights, we ensure every Luno product story is grounded in customer value, data, and impact.
The role in a nutshell:
The Product Marketing Specialist supports the development and execution of go-to-market strategies that drive product adoption, engagement, and visibility across Luno's product portfolio.
You will work closely with Product, Growth, and Marketing teams to define and deliver go-to-market strategies for both new and existing products, helping position Luno as the trusted, end-to-end platform for accessing and investing in digital assets.
An essential part of the role is gaining deep knowledge of Luno's product portfolio, including features such as staking, tokenised assets, bundles, and payments. You will translate this knowledge into clear and compelling narratives that resonate with a variety of audiences, including first-time investors, advanced traders, and institutional clients. The Specialist acts as a central connector between Product and Marketing, ensuring alignment on strategy, messaging, and insights that drive adoption and sustained engagement.
Your mission will be:Define and drive go-to-market strategy
- Support the vision and strategy for go-to-market activities for new and existing Luno products and features in partnership with Product, Growth, and Marketing teams.
- Translate strategies into clear and actionable briefs that guide messaging, positioning, audience focus, and channel plans.
- Support projects from submission through to delivery and coordinate execution across CRM, performance, content, brand, and design teams to ensure messaging is consistent and impactful.
- Ensure regional and market-specific requirements are reflected in all planning and execution.
- Serve as the primary point of communication between Product Managers and Marketing teams to align on priorities, timelines, and insights.
- Maintain alignment documentation, including go-to-market plans for current and upcoming launches.
- Engage the right stakeholders at the right moments across analytics, performance, CRM, content, and design.
- Support the flow of product data and analytics to help surface insights on adoption, engagement, and customer success.
- Provide competitive benchmarks and market research to inform positioning and messaging.
- Evaluate the performance and positioning of existing products to identify areas for growth and differentiation.
- Partner with Product and Growth teams to design and run experiments that inform go-to-market strategies and messaging effectiveness.
- Track and report on customer sentiment, adoption, and satisfaction to ensure strategies are grounded in insight.
Product launches and feature releases are clearly positioned, insight-led, and consistently communicated across all channels and regions. Go-to-market strategies advance product adoption and improve engagement and visibility across Luno's portfolio. Product and Marketing teams are aligned on priorities, timing, and audience insights with seamless collaboration across functions. Customer and competitive insights are actively used to refine product narratives and strategy.

You have a strong understanding of crypto products and investment tools, including staking, tokenised assets, bundles, and payments. You can create compelling product narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, from retail investors to institutional clients and advanced traders. You are a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and can balance long-term vision with hands-on execution.
You communicate effectively across multiple formats, including Slack, documentation, presentations, and adapt your messaging to audiences ranging from technical teams to business stakeholders and community members. You bring curiosity, insight-driven thinking, and a passion for bridging the gap between innovative products and meaningful customer experiences.
