Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Social Media Manager based in Cape Town, South Africa. Our ideal Social Media Manager is a creative beast with a love for video content and a passion for social media marketing.

Role Responsibilities:

You will report to our Creative Director and will be responsible for:

  • Managing clients' social media accounts
  • Pitching fresh content ideas
  • Creating content calendars and sticking to deadlines
  • Capturing video content/ assisting with shoots/content days
  • Basic (but exciting) graphic design work
  • Video editing for socials
  • Copywriting
  • Providing analytics/insights reports
  • Communicating with clients
  • Conducting social media audits for new clients
  • Managing paid advertising

Qualifications/Experience

  • Minimum 2 years working as a social media manager (ideally in an agency space)
  • Experience creating short-form content for different platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Experience with Canva, Google Workspace and Meta Business Suite
  • In-depth knowledge of different social media platforms
  • Experience with a variety of clients/industries
  • Must have your own transport
