About the Job

Job Purpose

The purpose of the Relationship Consultant role is to manage and maintain a client portfolio by providing an effective customer experience (CX).

Key and Routine Accountabilities

Portfolio Management

To manage and maintain a portfolio of clients (as allocated) by:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact, ensuring client service requests/needs are met or escalated (where required) promptly and professionally.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to foster trust and loyalty.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to understand their requirements, challenges, and feedback.
  • Maximizing customer experience (CX), with a strong focus on always improving overall portfolio management and client retention.
  • Identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional Netcash products.
  • To effectively utilize the company CRM system daily.

Qualifications

Matric - Grade 12 Certificate

Certification / Diploma or Degree in business highly advantageous, or equivalent experience within the transactional / payments industry.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients;
  • Analytical and detail orientated;
  • Passionate about customer experience (CX);
  • Excellent relationship management and customer service abilities;
  • Excellent computer literacy and proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant tools for managing client interactions and data;
  • Excellent listener;
  • Honest, reliable, and hardworking;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously;
  • Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment;
  • Self-motivated;

Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in relationship management, sales, or customer service, preferably within the transactional banking/ payment industry experience.
  • Experience in accounting and payroll software (beneficial).
