Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Social Media Marketing Manager based in Johannesburg. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media marketing strategies to increase brand engagement and drive business growth. Day-to-day tasks include creating and curating content, managing social media platforms, optimizing performance through SMO, analyzing metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with broader digital marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
  • Proficiency in Communication and crafting audience-focused messaging
  • Experience in developing and implementing Content Strategies
  • Knowledge and understanding of Digital Marketing principles and best practices
  • Analytical skills to assess social media performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and work on-site in Johannesburg
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in managing social media campaigns and familiarity with analytics tools is a plus
  • Experienced in Design and editing with tools such as CANVA, CapCut and Google AI studio.
